It’s that time of year again…time to get your 2013 Six Flags Great America season pass!
For the first time ever, frequent visitors of the Chicago-area theme park have a choice between two types of season passes: Regular or Gold.
The new Six Flags Great America GOLD season pass offers multiple perks. Here are 5 benefits:
1. Unlimited admission to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee and ALL Six Flags theme parks (Gold & Regular)
Did you know that as a Six Flags Great America season pass holder (gold and regular) you can use your pass at any of the thirteen Six Flags locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico?

One of the biggest differences between a gold and regular season pass is that the gold pass includes free parking on every pass. Families with teen drivers purchasing multiple passes will certainly want to take advantage of this perk!
Note: Regular season pass holders wishing to park at Six Flags either have to pay the daily parking fee or purchase a parking pass for about $75.

3. Free parking at every Six Flags theme park (Gold Only)
As if being able to park at your “home” park all season long wasn’t good enough, the gold pass also includes free parking at every Six Flags theme park listed above. In other words… Gold season passes allow unlimited entry and free parking to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee AND unlimited entry and free parking to twelve additional Six Flags locations.
Note: Parking passes purchased separately are only good at your “home” park.

4. First entry to Great America’s Hurricane Harbor water park (Gold Only)
All Six Flags Great America season passes (regular and gold) include entry into the Hurricane Harbor water park. However, gold pass holders get first entry into the water park – sort of like being able to cut to the front of the line, no questions asked. If you’ve ever been to Six Flags in Gurnee on a hot summer day, there’s no need to explain how fantastic of a perk this is!
5. Extra bring-a-friend-for-free ticket in season pass holder coupon book (Gold Only)
All season pass holders (regular and gold) receive a value-packed coupon book containing over $300 worth of money-saving coupons. Anyone that’s ever purchased a pass prior seasons knows that the BEST coupons are the bring-a-friend for free tickets. Gold season pass purchasers get a coupon book with an EXTRA highly-coveted bring-a-friend-free ticket!
