When those iconic cans made their debut each year, you knew summer had arrived, even if Chicago’s weather said otherwise. Even though the Six Flags Coke cans are no longer around, there’s still good news. The Six Flags Coke can discount is available at Great America Chicago and most of the theme park’s other locations.
As a matter of fact, Coca-cola offers two ways for Great America guests to save this summer. And if you’re feeling lucky, they have a Coke Rewards instant winner game for a free ticket, as well.
Before I give you all the details on how to get the Coke discounts, here’s a list of four simple ways to save money on a 2019 ticket.

Bring a Coke can to Six flags Great America for a discount on your ticket
All you have to do is present your Coke can at the Great America ticket booth to save $15. Please note: the discount amount varies by theme park. If you need discount information for a Six Flags other than Chicago, click here for Coke discounts at other locations.
Keep in mind, the can does not specifically need to be Coke; it can be any Coca-Cola brand like Sprite.
The $15 discount is valid for one general admission. Additionally, it cannot be combined with other offers and is valid through September 29, 2019.
Buy Six Flags tickets online at least a day in advance and get a discount courtesy of Coca-Cola
Six Flags gives you a discount for buying online tickets at least one day in advance of use. However, the savings varies by day. For example, you won’t save as much on weekend or holiday tickets compared to weekday or early season tickets.

How to get an even bigger online discount from Coke
It’s not well publicized on the theme park’s website so this is what you need to do. Buy your ticket online at sixflags.com, enter the promo code COKE, and save $21 per ticket!
What’s even better is you can save $21 no matter what day you pick, weekend, holiday or other peak days (according to the sixflags ticket calendar as of 5/16/19). The only catch is that you have to buy your ticket at least one day in advance.
One other thing to note, is that there is a processing fee for online ticket sales. It’s around $9 per transaction, so if you’re only buying one ticket, you’ll save more bringing the can to the ticket booth at the park. If your buying two or more online tickets, you’ll save more using the Coke promo code online compared to bringing the cans to the park.
